Free up some rotating mass with Dynotech's aluminum driveshaft for your 1965-1970 Pony! Made from 3.5" tubing, this driveshaft will lower your ETs at the track. Includes heavy duty 1330 style u-joint caps, which measure 3.62" wide and have a 1.062 diameter. The Driveshaft measures 51" from U-joint center to U-joint center AND INCLUDES a new 28 spline yoke. This assembly is intended for cars that have a "54 ish" distance from the back of the transmission to the differential yoke center line, which is common for MANY 65-70 V8 Mustangs. Ford tried to standardize their transmission lengths to be able to use the same driveshaft on cars with Toploaders, C4 Autos, C6 Autos, 8" rears and 9" rears whenever they could. BUT, Ford was unable to make "one size fit all" and you really have to measure your application to make sure. This driveshaft is also used to install a T5 transmission into a 71-73 Mustangs. Note: If you are using the factory yoke and differential with 1310 (3.219" wide) size u joints, be sure to order the hybrid 1310/1330 U joints listed below. Please check the length you need and make sure this 51" length will do the trick as these are NON RETURNABLE.
