1987-1993 2 inch cowl induction hood with full understructure. Weighing in at 27 Lbs., this show hoods scoop is made wider to accept under hood modifications such as blowers and larger intakes. The hood is made to give you the aggressive look you want, but has the grace to tame the street or car show.
This hood is engineered for strength and reliability. Instead of the cheap inserts placed into the fiberglass, which can rip out of the hinge and latch. areas, the manufacturer takes the time to laminate blocks of aircraft quality aluminum into the fiberglass under structure. The hinge areas come pre-drilled and threaded. The latch is metal reinforced. So when the hood arrives its ready to be installed. This hood also comes with high quality new Sims bolts for your hinges, safety catch and hood tension spring to help make your installation quick and easy.
The hood is a non functional cowl induction hood, but as an option it can be cut open which at no charge. Screens to fill the openings can also be added for an additional $40 charge. Just give us a call or clearly specify in your online order to open the hood or add screens.
