This kit contains all parts required to convert your 6 Cyl engine 1965-1966 Mustang from front drum brakes to front disc brakes. The kit uses your original 4-lug spindles, so you get to re-use whatever 4-lug wheels you are currently running. There are 2 versions of the kit, with the Manual Disc kit you end up with non-power/manual brakes so the kit does NOT come with a brake booster. This version will work with both Manual and Automatic transmissions. The Power Disc brake kit comes with a booster and gives you full Power Front Disc Brakes, BUT WILL ONLY WORK WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS as the booster interferes with the stock clutch linkages on manual transmission cars. Disc brake kit will work with most 15” wheels and spare tires. Please consult the wheel fitment diagram to confirm clearances. For additional information, please contact SSBC customer service.
