Shipping Information

The Mustang Shop has teamed up with FedEx and Canada Post to offer competitive shipping options to anywhere in Canada. We have very competitive express rates with FedEx and as such many small orders can be shipped express/air at rates similar to or lower than our ground rates. We will always ship using the most cost-effective method, unless otherwise requested.

Please note that our shipping rates for tracked parcels generally start around the $15 range, and often the cheapest option available can be even more expensive than that. If you are ordering very small and inexpensive items, please be ready for this shipping charge. In rare cases, some things can be sent lettermail which we charge $3 for, but the list of parts that qualify for this is small. A business address can save you a few bucks in some cases, so we recommend that if possible.

Overlength items (longer than 48") have surcharges that are around $20 per box. If you are ordering multiple long items, we will do our best to combine them into as few packages as possible to save on these surcharges, but it can get expensive quick.

Oversized items such as fenders, hoods, complete floor pans, and quarter panels that are too large to ship with FedEx or Canada Post will ship via Truck Freight using the most cost-effective method to your specific location. This is usually via Manitoulin Transport or Mustang Freightways. Please note that for truck freight items, it is always cheaper to ship to a commercial/business address. The residential surcharges are often up to $100. Please provide us with a business if possible. It must be a business only address, residential businesses will still have residential charges.

Shipping rates charged are the actual rates as charged to us by the carrier including full insurance.

Unfortunately, due to the various sizes, shapes, weight, and insurable costs of items as well as the great variability in shipping rates within Canada we cannot pre-quote these automatically online. Please give us a call or send an email to shipping@themustangshop.ca and we will get you a shipping quote ASAP. We try to quote as accurately as possible, but we do not always know the exact size that the shipment will be in the end. If the shipping is cheaper than we expected, we will charge you the reduced amount. We will never charge you more than you were quoted. If this happens, it is an accident and we will fix it, please contact us.

We will not ship using any third-party shipping companies. We do not ship to international freight forwarders. We also do not ship overseas. Thank you for your understanding.
