This 1965-66 Ford Mustang hood is made with 50% CARBON FIBER for strength and weight savings! It has a 1967 Shelby style scoop molded into a 65-66 Hood. This is also a taller version of this hood as it has roughly 2.5″ of clearance above the carb/aircleaner. Smooth finish on top and bottom.
All Maier hoods are designed with aluminum in the inner frame that has been drilled and tapped to accept stock hood hinges and latches. Please note that we DO NOT recommend hood springs or shocks, even those Shelby hood springs. Please use a prop rod only to hold up the hood.
