These are original OEM Starters that have been completely remanufactured to stock/original specifications. All metal parts have been properly re-plated or painted the correct color and the guts are brand new! Note: 157 tooth flywheels in front of both the automatic (A/T) and the manual transmission used the same starter. This same starter was also used with the 164 tooth automatic transmission. It is only the 164 tooth flywheel in front of a manual trans which used a different starter (3/8″ shallower depth). The MANUAL starter drive gear is actually recessed into the starter mount housing to provide for a larger pressure plate.
