This Lakewood cast aluminum bellhousing connects Small Block Ford engines to the Ford style T5 transmission. Designed as a compact, lightweight option for transmission swaps, it uses a 157 tooth flywheel, 10.5 inch clutch and can use hydraulic or cable actuation. This is the proper bellhousing for use on a Fox Body Mustang with a cable or hydraulic clutch, and is the one for use in converting vintage 60s and 70s Mustangs to a T5 instead of using a stock vintage bellhousing with a spacer plate. Please note that this bellhousing does NOT have the clutch pivot bracket for use with a mechanical/ z-bar vintage clutch setup and requires a Hydraulic or Cable conversion to work. The LK8000 is just the bellhousing, while the LK8000K includes a Block Plate, Bolt Kit, Pivot Ball and Clutch Fork Cover.
