This clip was used under the car to secure the Fuel Sending Unit Wire to the body AND to attach the Hood to Rad Support seal on some Mustangs and Cougars in place of the staples. The Ford assembly line often ran out of staples or had the heavy duty stapler break down and used these clips instead of staples on the assembly line. Probably 20% of the original cars we've seen over the years had these in place of staples. These are sold in PAIRS.
