Plastic injection and chrome plated. Fits in center of steering wheel, holds vinyl pad/woodgrain panel and buttons. The Mustang version has the provisions for the Deluxe interior's woodgrain centerpiece that has the 7 holes in it for the Mustang Tri-Bar emblem and the round trim bezels. The Shelby version has a different hole pattern in the back to receive the square Shelby woodgrain centerpiece that only has the square Shelby emblem.
