These gas tanks are made by Golden Star and are excellent quality. Some original tanks in the 1960s did NOT come with a drain, but most did. We sell both versions. We do sell cheaper gas tanks, but these are usually better quality and usually in stock, while some of the cheaper ones are often out of stock. One thing that sets these apart is they are usually made of a galvanized steel just like the originals were and are perfect for Concours restorations. Please note that some batches have the Concours galvanized finish, while some batches of their gas tanks come silver painted like the cheaper ones! It seems quite random and we've told them we only want the galvanized ones, but..... Please call us and make us have a look before you order to make sure you get a galvanized on if that is important to you.
