This blockplate will fit all C4, FMX, C6, AOD, and stick shift transmissions behind small Windsor and Cleveland engines. Installation is easy, the only modifications to be made are to the stator are and this is only if you have a 164 tooth (large bell) flywheel. This can be determined by counting the flywheel teeth or by matching the new plate to the old one. If you have the 164-tooth setup the crescent shaped starter area needs to be removed. This can be along the perforations with a hacksaw or pliers. Smooth out any remaining nubs with a file. Install the plate onto the dowel pins in the block; this will be a tight fit. Using a socket to tap the plate helps.
